A Widower's Journey: A Life of Loss and Love Jeff Rimland’s first chapbook of 50 poems, “ A Widower’s Journey; A Life of Loss and Love”, is a result of many years of authoring about 200 poems, as well as the last 4 years of a life changing journey. A Journey that started out by writing down his feelings, which he found difficult expressing verbally, but is expressed in poems that others can identify with, who have gone through similar experiences. This collection of poetry tells a story of a young man starting out in life, experiencing the beginning of love and relationships, seeking the one true love, finding that love, losing that love due to death, reluctantly accepting that tremendous loss, and finally looking towards the future. Our Gift to Each Other: Heartfelt Poems of Our Love " Our Gift to Each Other: Heartfelt Poems of Our Love" is Jeff's second book of poetry and a prequel to "A Widower's Journey....". This beautiful volume of poetry has been coauthored with his wife, Marcia Schreiber-Rimland, who passed away from breast cancer on October 17, 2001, after 24 years of a wonderful marriage. Jeff and Marcia met in 1975, fell in love, and expressed their love for one another in the form of poetry at different times and different places, but reflecting their same feelings. The authors were true soul mates, and this volume of poetry is a true love story. Marcia Schreiber-Rimland was an Elementary School Reading Teacher and a Mother of 3 children before her death. She authored poetry and children' s stories over the course of her life. Jeff possesses an MBA in International Business, a certificate in Career Development Facilitation, taught college courses, has over 30 years of business experience, and what feels like centuries of life experience. Jeff lives with his 3 children, 2 Dogs, and 2 Cats, in Patchogue, Long Island, New York.
